The mission of My Physical Therapist, PLLC, is 2-fold. First, we exist to provide effective, efficient, client-focused, and compassionate clinical physical therapist care within a client’s home environment. Second, we exist as a consulting company to support and advance physical therapist education and practice. We are a family and veteran-owned business, focusing on orthopedic and manual physical therapy.
We provide short-term Physical Therapist care for most conditions affecting movement, be it back, neck, shoulder, knee, or other body regions. We primarily utilize manual physical therapy and exercise, customizing care within a client's values, abilities and resources. We are available many weekend, so you don't need to wait to see your doctor for a suspected sprain or strain.
We can see you without a physician referral. We will gladly evaluate you for our services, and recommend appropriate medical referral if it is indicated. Basically - we want to help you receive the best care possible within a challenging health care marketplace.
The American Physical Therapy Association released a report in September 2023 emphasizing the economic value of Physical Therapy over other medical interventions (e.g. medicine, surgery, injections) for conditions such as low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, tennis elbow, and falls prevention. To learn more about the economic benefits of Physical Therapist Care, you can access this report at https://www.apta.org/news/2023/09/27/value-of-pt-report-released#:~:text=In%20every%20case%2C%20the%20use,%2439%2C533%20for%20carpal%20tunnel%20syndrome.
